I had the pleasure of documenting a street mural project along the Evelyn-Wiggins cycle track in Toronto, organized by StreetARToronto. The artists transform bike barriers into canvases, turning these grey concrete barriers into a roadside street art exhibit. It’s always inspiring to witness the process of these local artists and to see how each brings their unique vision to life. Street art like this is so important to the city. It beautifies our urban spaces but also democratizes art, making it accessible to everyone. Public art projects like this one can uplift a community, spark joy, and turn our everyday commutes into a moment of inspiration.
