Leuty Look Through // POTD 11.02.21

A snowy day is always a good day to get out for a walk. Here is a shot I took on one of those snowy days.

Leuty Lifeguard Station seen through the fencing that lines the beach. I love the contrast of the red against the white backdrop of the snow.

COVID Unit Portrait // POTD 20.01.21

Infectious disease specialist, Dr. Sumon Chakrabarti stops for a quick portrait between seeing COVID positive patients at Trillium Health Partners. Dr. Chakrabarti and fellow infectious disease specialists have been key players in not only keeping us safe but also keeping us informed throughout this pandemic. Over the past year he’s been volunteering his time to provide daily interviews to media.

While on the unit we also shot some b-roll for virtual discussion with a group of front-line doctors from across Canada that aired on Global News. You can watch the discussion HERE.

Peel Paramedics COVID-19 Vaccination Training // POTD 17.01.21

On January 7 Peel Paramedics came to Trillium Health Partners to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. They also were trained on how to administer the vaccine. Now Peel Paramedics have joined forces in administering the vaccine to long-term care workers, front line staff and other priority groups. I had the opportunity to tag along and photograph some of the process. Here are a few of my favourite stills from the day.

Physician Assistant Portraits // POTD 27.11.20

A few images shot for Trillium Health Partners for Physician Assistant Day.

As we mark #PhysicianAssistantDay, join us in thanking THP's small but mighty team of seven PAs in General and Neurosurgery. 🙏🏥

PAs can work in a variety of clinical settings and help improve efficiency and access to care, reduce wait times and shorten length of stay in hospital. Surgical emergencies continue during COVID-19, and PAs work tirelessly alongside their supervising physicians to provide high quality care.
