The fall colours are sticking around for a long time this year. I welcome them to stay forever. I love how there are spots like this within the city of Toronto. Just a hop, skip and jump away from my house I found this beautiful park with the full fall yellows on display. Absolutely gorgeous. Make sure you get out to enjoy the autumn palette before it turns white.

Got up early before work today to take a ride on some winding roads and enjoy the changing leaves. It’s nice to take it slow before a busy day at work.

My god, this morning was unexpectedly cold. I froze my butt off going out to watch the sunrise this AM. It was totally worth it though! It always is.

From dusk to DON - Before and After
Here is a "Before and After" sequence of a photo of Don Valley that I shot the other day. I had a handful of people message me asking about how much I had manipulated the photograph and what sort of gear I used, etc... Fall: Mother Natures Swan Song
For what seems to be a fleeting moment the trees in our city burst into a colourful spectrum of reds and yellows. A last hurrah before shorts and sandals are replaced by parkas and boots. A final celebration before the lush green grass of summer is blanketed by the first snowfall of winter. Blink and you'll miss it. Mother natures swan song.
