I was recently going through a shelf of my old 35mm cameras and I found some canisters of undeveloped film. One black and white and one colour. What a pleasant surprise! I decided to bring them in to get developed. They certainly aren't the greatest pictures, but something about having them stored away for a year makes them feel a bit more special.
These are the images that were locked away. I believe they are photos from between January-April 2017. Shot on a Pentax ME Super with some 1 dollar garage sale mystery film. I'll share the colour photos today and the black and whites tomorrow.

Set out to take some photos with my new lens. Biked to Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie Street Spit) to test this glass out.
Beaches
I love living so close to the beach. It feels so great to such easy access to the shores of Lake Ontario. Sunshine or night-time, it's always a great way to reflect and clear your mind!
Toronto, you cold.
It's been cold in Toronto the past few weeks. I'm talking some real cold here, like comparable to the cold you would get for weeks on end in Manitoba. Apparently it usually doesn't get this frosty around these parts for this long. It's too bad for those who aren't so well adjusted to the temps (ie the street cars that seem to be breaking down left right and centre and the people waiting for those street cars), but for me it's been great. It makes me feel right at home. The cold weather has also turned the beach near my house into a winter wonderland. Everything is coated in a thick layer of ice. It makes my walk to grab my morning coffee just a little more interesting. Here are a few images from my walk this morning (plus one bonus pic from about a week back). I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoy the cold weather :)

"Wet Cold" in Toronto
I'm super excited that we are finally getting some winter weather here in Toronto. Lots of snow and temperatures below zero. FINALLY! It makes me feel like I'm back home in Manitoba. I've been shooting more often to enjoy this winter weather. Here are some images from these walk-abouts.
Disclaimer: not all of these images are winter related! I'm mostly using this opportunity to post some images I haven't had a chance to share. ENJOY :)
